Korea has a special agreement with 113 countries and region for visa-free entry.
Many of the KSN 2025 participants may stay for 30-90 days without a visa.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the countries that can enter without a visa may change, so please check with the relevant authorities for details.

(K-ETA)

K-ETA is mandatory for nationals from visa-free entry countries who enter Korea without a visa. You should apply for the K-ETA at least 72 hours prior to boarding the flight bound for the Republic of Korea. You can apply for K-ETA website ( www.k-eta.go.kr ) or mobile app (K-ETA).

  • The Ministry of Justice decided to extend the temporary exemption period for 1 more year to stimulate the tourism industry in celebration of 「Visit Korea Year (2023~2024)」, the exemption will be effective until December 31, 2025 (KST).
  • Extended K-ETA temporary exemption period: From January 1, 2025 (Wed) to December 31, 2025 (Wed) (KST)
  • The countries/regions that are currently exempt from K-ETA are subject to this extension. Those who are subject to the exemption will get a pop-up message when they select their nationality during the application.
  • Still, those who wish to receive benefits from K-ETA approval, such as not having to submit an arrival card, may apply for K-ETA; in that case, the application fee will be charged.
